Tropical Storm Dorian, 5 p.m. Saturday advisory
OUTLOOK: RIP Tropical Storm Dorian.
The National Hurricane Center has issued its last advisory on Dorian, a storm that kept Florida on edge for the past three days - as at one point it was projected to be near hurricane strength in the southern Bahamas.
There's a small chance the system could regenerate into a depression or storm. A hurricane hunter aircraft is on standby to investigate that possibility on Sunday, "if necessary," hurricane specialist Eric Blake said.
WHAT FLORIDA CAN EXPECT: The state is unlikely to feel any impacts from Dorian.
PARTICULARS: Dorian was done in by wind shear, dry air and its own fast-forward progress. The wave is expected to be in the area of the Bahamas in the next two to three days.
LOCATION: About 550 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands
STRENGTH: 40 mph sustained winds
MOVEMENT: West at 24 mph
