South Floridians are waking up Friday morning to temperatures in the low to mid 60s across the region.  A light jacket or sweater may be needed as you head off to work, school or other activities.

Otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies, mild mornings and warm afternoons  Saturday and Sunday. It also should be breezy, particularly today and Sunday.

South Florida's Friday forecast calls for highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 60s. The chance of rain increases early next week.

Central Florida's forecast: Sunny with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 50s.

That’s par for the course in March and April, generally the windiest months of the year – and the forecast calls for this to be a breezy weekend. Gusts commonly reach 15-20 mph during the two months.

The least windy month, on average: September. But, of course, some of the strongest winds ever have occurred in that month during major hurricanes.
