Camp Fairs

South Florida Parenting will host Camp Fun Fest on April 12 & 13 at The Shops at Sunset Place in South Miami. Hours are noon to 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. Camp Fun Fest offers families the perfect opportunity to preview great summer camps in one convenient and fun location.

Camp Fun Fest allows parents to visit with camp and other summer-fun exhibitors while the kids enjoy free activities such as games, face painting, balloon art, crafts, and much more!

Cool de Sac and The Parent Academy will sponsor the Camp Quest scavenger hunt, with prizes given out at the new Cool de Sac location on the thrid level of The Shops at Sunset Place. Holtz Children's Hospital will sponsor of the sand art card craft activity. Miami-Dade Libraries will provide a 3-D turtle craft. At Miami Science Museum's area, children can decorate pirate hats or crowns. South Florida Parenting will provide free indoor s'mores, free rock wall and bounce house. Visitors to The Shops art Sunset Place will have the opportunity to make a cute stuffed animal for a special rate when they join Simon Mall's Kidgits' Kids Club. Face painting and balloon art will be provided by the talented teens from Miami Children's Theater.
