YOU VOTE! COMING JUNE 23 All children who are entered in the
2008 Cover Kids Contest will be pictured on this website for the
online voting part of the Cover Kids Contest. ( Children who have
opted out of this part of the contest will not be pictured.) On
June 23 you may start to vote for your favorite Cover Kids. One
vote per person per day will be counted. YOU VOTE! will run
until 5:00 pm on July 11, 2008.

South Florida Parenting's Cover Kids Contest, now in its 16th
year, is the original cover contest in South Florida and the answer
to the many requests by readers to put their child on our cover.
Contest Details: Four winners will seen on 2009 covers. One
will be chosen from each age category: babies to 23 months, two
years to 4 years, five years to eight years, and nine to thirteen
years of age. Eight runners-up will also be chosen. The runners-up
may be pictured on a 2009 cover, based on the editorial content. In
addition, our online YOU VOTE contest will select one child to be
on the cover based on online voting. We have created a new voting
system that will control the online votes. YOU VOTE will take
place in June. It's completey safe for your child-we only list
their first name and age category.
Once you have entered the Cover Kids Contest, the following will
take place:
- You will receive a letter confirming your entry
- We will send you a 3 month South Florida Parenting Kids Fun
Pass ( please allow 3 weeks from date of entry.)
- Your child's photo will be reviewed by our professional
judges in August and 100 children will be chosen as
finalists.
- The finalists will be invited to a private party in September
for the final judging.
- Your child will be entered into the YOU VOTE section of the
contest, unless you check the opt-out box on your
application.
- YOU VOTE will run from June 23 to
July 11.
