The Scott Rakow Community Center offers a wide variety of attractions for local children and teens. Swim, shoot hoops, bowl and glide across ice, all in a day. This year's judges raved about the ice-skating rink, new as of 2004, as a departure from the traditional party venues. And since this is a city-owned facility, it's cheaper for Miami Beach residents than most other places.
