ANAHEIM (KTLA) -- Rebecca Black, the Anaheim Hills teen who became an internet sensation when her music video 'Friday' went viral, has been forced out of school by constant bullying.

The 14-year-old tells ABC's Nightline that the harassment at school became so intense that she had to be home-schooled.

"When I walk by they'll start singing 'Friday' in a really nasally voice," she said of her classmates.

"Or, you know, they'll be like, 'Oh hey, Rebecca, guess what day it is?'"

The music video landed her in the media spotlight for a time.

She became a trending topic on Twitter, received a ranking on iTunes and even made appearances on the late-night talk show circuit.

But the single was also a source of ridiculed for its cheesy lyrics, not written by Black, and was ultimately taken down for copyright violation.

But the damage was done.

Black says the attention the song received got out of hand, and she even received death threats.

But it's not all bad; Black has been tapped to appear in the latest Katy Perry video.

She also took home an MTV Teen Choice award for Choice Web Star last weekend.
