A nail-biting, suspenseful action film guaranteed to have you holding your breath until the very last moment, Law Abiding Citizen is a riveting look into our American justice system and the mind of one man trying to correct it.

When Clyde Shelton's (Gerald Butler) wife and daughter are murdered, Shelton takes his case to district attorney Nicholas Rice (Jamie Foxx), hoping he will give his family the justice they deserve.

Unfortunately, Rice is operating on his own agenda and sets the killer free after a plea bargain.

This does not sit well with Shelton, and he unleashes his plan to get revenge on the criminals and bring down the entire corrupt justice system.

With twist after twist, this citizen leaves you guessing every step of the way.

As the pile of bodies continues to grow, the killer's actions become less and less predictable, with an ending that is sure to shock audiences.

Butler's performance is unlike any audiences have seen before -- his portrayal of a psychotic killer is both disturbing and brilliant, making viewers pity him and fear him all at once.

Foxx is equally brilliant as the egotistical lawyer who learns to look at the law a little differently.

For any fans of criminal justice shows, such as Law and Order or Criminal Minds, this is heart-racing thriller you won't want to miss.

However, a word of caution, this film is not for the squeamish or faint-hearted.

Select scenes are extremely graphic and gruesome and this film should not be taken lightly.
