Hysterical and heartwarming, this summer's Away We Go chronicles the adventures (and misadventures) of a young couple searching for the perfect place to raise their baby.
John Krasinski (The Office) and Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live) play Burt and Verona.
Upon finding out the grandparents of their future child are moving, the couple leave their Colorado home (complete with a cardboard window) and journey from Phoenix to Madison to Montreal to find a new home.
On the way, the two reunite with friends and relatives who are far from normal.
The audience meets Verona's vulgar, loud, and just plain obnoxious ex-boss, Lily, and her husband Lowell (Jim Gaffigan).
Next up is Burt's "cousin," LN. Though she considers herself spiritually enlightened, she is just a lunatic.
This eccentric cast brings on laughs about everything from Lily's sagging breasts to LN's stroller phobia.
Though some of the humor is on the cruder side, you'll be saying "aww" as much as you say "eww."
Krasinski and Rudolph's chemistry is undeniable and their sparks really fly. The poster couple for unconditional love, their characters Burt and Verona will have you pining to be a part of their family by the time the credits roll.
Whether you're looking for a love story or a comedy, Away We Go will not disappoint. With the same indie flare as Juno and Little Miss Sunshine, this film is sure to capture the audience’s attention with its brilliantly witty and refreshing plot.
