Most students have heard The Plan a thousand times before: Get good grades, go to college, get a job.

But in Post Grad, Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) takes moviegoers on a comical journey that teaches a valuable lesson: Nothing in life, no matter how carefully planned, is guaranteed.

Bledel stars as Ryden Malby, a typical college graduate following The Plan in search of her dream job.

She gets a rude awakening when her rival, Jessica (Catherine Reitman), lands Ryden's dream job at the best publishing company in the city.

The failure forces Ryden to move back home with her parents. As the pile of rejected job applications grows, her dreams of the perfect life begin dwindling away.

But with the help of her best friend Adam (Zach Gilford), her neighbor David (Rodrigo Santoro), and her eccentric family, Ryden begins to discover things in life than don't come from books.

Post Grad is a film the entire family can relate to while enjoying a few laughs.

Bledel portrays a naïve, lovable young women who will have viewers rooting for her every step of the way.

A good way to end the summer, Post Grad delivers on what its previews promised: a feel-good film designed to bring families and friends closer together.
