University School: The Wedding Singer

Incredibly entertaining
Who would've thought that a silly Adam Sandler star-vehicle would make an awesome, award-winning musical? Based on the hit 1998 film, The Wedding singer turned out to be a high powered, super tubular, rock-'n-rolling, '80s musical.

Very imaginative and bright
The Wedding Singer is a romantic comedy about the trials one goes through to get married. The plot line, moving fluidly through song and dance, reveals Robbie Hart, a broken-hearted wedding singer and Julia Sullivan who is engaged to Glen Gulia. With the help of Sammy and George (band members), Holly (Julia's sister), Linda (Robbie's ex-girlfriend), and Rosie (Robbie's grandmother) the plot moves forward into despair and love.

Makes you want to dance the night away
Wedding parties head-to-toe in baby blue, a rapping Grandmother and some fuchsia eyeshadow were all the rage this past weekend at the production of The Wedding Singer at University School. Full of broken engagements, crimped hair and shoulder pads, The Wedding Singer took the audience a step back in time to the year 1985.

A stellar trip back in time
The '80s are alive and back, and for this we have to thank the University School cast of The Wedding Singer. Based off of the original Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer is a vivacious musical that is sure to bring you to your feet.
