The U.S. Army All-America selection tour will be making a stop at St. Thomas Aquinas this year.

Two Raiders — kicker Michael Palardy and offensive lineman Brandon Linder — have been chosen to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Palardy, who has verbally committed to Tennessee, has established himself as one of Florida's top kickers, converting 7 of 10 field goal attempts, including a long of 42 yards. He has also made 34 of 35 extra point attempts.

Linder anchors the line and has helped the Raiders average 326.2 yards per game.

Palardy and Linder will receive their game jersey at a ceremony at the school Monday.

CYPRESS BAY 6, S. PLANTATION 0: Natalia Agualimpia had three goals to lead the Lightning (1-0). Taylor Riggin added a goal and two assists. The Paladins are 0-1.

POMPANO 5, PIPER 0: Evelyn Ocampo, Margaux Militello, Kiran Bajaj, Gia DiRoberto and Shelby Petik each scored and Jennifer Johnson recorded the shutout for the Tornadoes (1-0). The Bengals are 0-1.

CALVARY CHR. 7, HIGHLANDS CHR. 0: Carli Deibel had two goals and four assists to lead the Eagles (1-0). Alex Basey made seven saves. The Knights are 0-1.

ZION 2, SHERIDAN 0: Sam Ruby and Brianna Lett each scored for the Lions (1-0). The Sharks are 0-1.

N. BROWARD PREP 4, SOUTH FLA HEAT 0: Michelle Roque-Paskow scored four times for the Eagles (1-0). Cheyenne Walker made four saves. The Heat are 0-1.

SOMERSET 8, HIALEAH GARDENS 0: Cassidy Marrero had two goals for the Panthers (1-0). Carolina Cucurullo added four assists.
