Sophomore Brianna O'Neil had 27 kills, nine service points and three blocks as Chaminade-Madonna defeated Ransom Everglades 25-19, 25-13, 22-25, 25-18 in a non-district girls' volleyball match on Friday.

Senior Ashley Rey added 13 service points, 11 digs and eight kills for the Lions, who finished the regular season 19-6.

The Lions are the No. 1 seed in District 8-2B and will face the University School/Hialeah Gardens winner Wednesday at 7 in the district playoffs.
