Boca Christian's Kailey Costello notched the best time among all Palm Beach County runners (23:59) in the District 7-1A cross country championship at the Westminster Academy Athletic Complex on Tuesday "The beginning was tough," said Costello, who finished 10th overall. "I wanted to finish in the top 15, and I did that, so I'm happy with my time." No other Palm Beach County girl finished in the top 15, the standard needed to reach the Nov. 15 regionals. In the boys' race, the Blazers also boasted the top finisher in senior Thomas Taylo, who finished 11th (19:40). Taylo was also the only top-15 finisher for Palm schools.
