Why waste time, money to go elsewhere?

From Fort Lauderdale to Pompano Beach, and Hollywood to Deerfield Beach, Broward County offers an entertaining variety of beaches all year.
South Florida's winters are warmer today than they were a decade ago, and the tourism industry has been booming. There's never been a better time to hit the sand.
Why waste money and time driving hours to South Beach or Key West when you can fish from a pier, visit a nature park, grab a bite at a local Greek restaurant or swim with your friends right here in Broward County?
Broward has the street life, night life and the concerts to entertain anyone. Instead of spending valuable time on a weekend or senior skip day driving to Cocoa Beach, you can be at the Fort Lauderdale beach with a fraction of the time and gas money spent.
With a longer beach line and more sand, Fort Lauderdale offers better security and more lifeguards than Miami's beaches. Rather than stare at the tall skyscrapers crowding the coast of South Beach, enjoy the low-rise background at less-crowded Broward beaches.
The sun will tan your skin no matter which beach you choose, but let's face it: Our beaches rock!
You can surf, jet ski or parasail along the coast all year round. Our beaches are cleaner than those in the Keys and they offer more restaurants and shopping experiences at more affordable prices.
And there's no worry at Pompano Beach that celebrities will force you off the beach so they can tape an MTV reality show, which might happen in Miami.
When you feel like hanging out with your friends in the fresh, salty breeze of a nearby beach, check out a local one and appreciate the life we live in South Florida, where the beach is always open.
