Piper's Gray, Maddox sign with colleges By Rick Duteau Staff Writer
A pair of Piper point guards recently signed to play college basketball this upcoming season. Van Gray signed with Pfeiffer University in North Carolina, while his Bengals teammate Bre-Juan Maddox signed with Daytona State College. Gray averaged 12 points, seven assists and four rebounds per game in 2008-2009, while Maddox averaged 10 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.7 steals and two assists per game. Maddox was a Sun Sentinel All-County Honorable Mention. |
