A Teacher Activity Guide for Using Teenlink in the Classroom

Dear Teachers,

The links at right lead to 39 classroom activities using Teenlink, one for each week of the school year. These activities can be used in any order and with any issue of Teenlink. They may be repeated for reinforcement of skills as often as you like.

For your convenience, the activities are divided not only in a week-to-week plan, but also in categories to help you choose what works best for you and your students. Each activity is benchmarked to Sunshine State Standards to make it easier for you to incorporate into your plan book.

We encourage you to use these activities in any way that works for you and your students. The goal is to familiarize students with Teenlink and to build that all-important newspaper reading habit.
