Cappies honor high school theater productions

And the #Cappies go to…high school #theater winners:

The Cappies, which is shorthand for the Critic's Awards Program, celebrated high school theater achievements of students from 23 private and public schools throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The 13th Annual Cappies Awards Gala took place Tuesday, May 19, at Fort Lauderdale's Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

In addition to the awards, $500 scholarships were given to each of the students recognized as senior critic, lead actor in play, lead actress in a play, lead actor in a musical and lead actress in a musical.
