South Florida stages know a good thing when they see one.
The Christmas trend seems to be catching on with several shows running the boards in local theaters.
Here are the 10 shows you shouldn’t miss:
“Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Starring The Rockettes”
The newness includes glamorous costumes, new choreography and sets, and a 50-foot LED screen backdrop. But the real charm of the show remains the old-school line of high-kicking dancers.

“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas”
Based on the beloved 1954 Bing Crosby-Danny Kaye movie, the show spotlights classic hits such as “Sisters,” “Blue Skies,” “I Love a Piano” and the title song “White Christmas.”

“The Santaland Diaries”
A one-man send-up of the brief, misguided career of a Macy’s elf, written by David Sedaris and performed here by Jamie Morris (writer and star of “Mommie Queerest,” “The Silence of the Clams” and “The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode”).
