50 fashion boutiques in downtown Delray Beach are getting together for a fashion show Friday, Jan. 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The runway event will be staged outdoors in front of the Colony Hotel at 525 E. Atlantic Avenue.
There is VIP seating for a $10 donation with proceeds benefiting a scholarship at Lynn University's Fashion Management program.
The show will feature beach, casual, resort, eveningwear and jewelry. There will be performances by Matthew Farmer and The No Pressure Band.

Rod Hagwood: I could have sworn I was interviewing for "fashionable" editor back in 1990 when I applied for this job. I imagined I was just going to sashay around the newsroom wearing an array of fabulous designer ensembles.
