They are about to walk that runway until it's red.
Fashion Designers Expo - that 3-day spate of runway shows spotlighting local up-and-coming designers - has decided to help raise awareness of how AIDS-HIV has reached epidemic proportions in South Florida.
At the shows staged in the Hotel Sofitel Miami starting Thursday, April 18 and continuing through Sunday, April 21st, there will be an emphasis on education through a partnership with the Miami-Dade County Health Department. The event culminates in a "RED" finale with local kids and teens.
For a complete schedule and to order tickets (which range in price from $35 to $15o depending on the event and proximity to the runway), go to FashionDesignersExpo.com.
