Just because the thermometer here in South Florida is in the high 80s (higher if you factor in the humidity) doesn’t mean it’s too soon to start thinking about fall/winter fashion.

Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour is hosting Let’s Talk Fall: The Trend Event Party Wednesday, August 20 starting at 3 p.m. on Level 2 of the Bal Harbour Shops store. The event is free and open to the public as long as guests RSVP by calling 305-993-4612 or emailing RSVPBalHarbour@NeimanMarcus.com.

“The South Florida customer is very fashion-forward and ready to try the next hot fashion trend,” says Gotmar Giron, public relations manager at Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour. “Many are travelers and extremely well versed in the fashion world, and we are able to provide them first with the latest in fashion and beauty.”

The runway show will highlight trends for women and men, including: gray as the definitive neutral for the season; global chic multicultural textures and prints; and the popularity of green and blue jewel tones.

“As we cater to both a mix of locals and tourists, we have found that our events showcasing new collections resonate with both clients,” Giron adds. “Our fashion-savvy customers always want to be in the fashion know.”

AmorePacific will do free skin-care consultations. Veev Vodka and Stella Artois will provide drinks. Piola and the Neiman Marcus Zodiac Restaurant will provide light bites.

Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour is at 9700 Collins Ave.
