Glam-A-Thon
It's the title I WISH I had thought of first: Glam-A-Thon.
Isn't that brilliant? Well, I didn't think of it. Dagnabit. That honor goes to Fort Lauderdale's Tammy Gail who came up with the name of the breast cancer fundraiser six years ago.
Now the multi-day event is a fab-u-palooza of parties, stilettos, models, celebrities, fashion, beauty and charity.

Rod Hagwood: I could have sworn I was interviewing for "fashionable" editor back in 1990 when I applied for this job. I imagined I was just going to sashay around the newsroom wearing an array of fabulous designer ensembles. Imagine my disappointment when I found out my bosses wanted me to actually work...instead of working it.
