Some shows in South Florida theaters are getting short runs this month.
Catch them while you can.
“ALL SHOOK UP”

When: Oct. 10-27, Thursdays through Sundays
What: Elvis Presley hits such as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock” and “Don’t Be Cruel” are mixed with a story based on Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.”

“SOUNDS OF SIMON”

What: Paul Simon’s music in a pop-rock opera that was so successfully restaged this summer, its run was held over — twice. Now, it’s back for another short run.

“TALES OF A GRAVEYARD CLOWN”

What: Deadly vampires, crazy clowns, demon scarecrows and devilish ghouls bring monstrous surprises to mortal spectators with acrobatics, illusions and music.

“THE WHO’S TOMMY”

What: Entr’acte Theatrix stages this show based on the fourth album by the Who. Pete Townshend’s rock opera concerns a boy who survives traumas to become a “pinball wizard” cult figure.
