The holiday season is bringing several “Nutcracker” ballets to South Florida.
Here’s a roundup of 11 “Nutcrackers” you shouldn’t miss:
BOCA BALLET THEATRE
In addition to the ballet, the company will host a Gingerbread Ball on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at which young people can meet Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and other magical characters at a post-matinee children’s party.

MIAMI YOUTH BALLET
Appropriate for ages 4 and up, this version features choreography for a cast of 100 young dancers by Yanis Pikieris and Marielena Mencia.

ARTS BALLET THEATRE OF FLORIDA
Vladimir Issaev’s ballet will be presented in three South Florida venues, but the opening gala will be held at the Fillmore Miami Beach at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8.
