Broward Center and Performance Project
What: Four programs are offered for ages 6 to 18 by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Performance Project School of the Arts. Those programs are Acting Up Camp (for ages 6 to 9), Broadway Bound Camp (for ages 10 to 13), Company Group Summer Camp (for ages 13 to 18) and Young Professionals Summer Theatre Camp (for ages 13 to 18 who have already auditioned). They will be held at three locations, including the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, Old Davie School and Aventura Arts and Cultural Center.
Times: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Various sessions throughout the summer. The Broward Center will present Acting Up, Broadway Bound and Company Group camps in two sessions from June 9 through July 3 and from July 7 through Aug. 1. The Young Professionals Summer Theater Camp will be offered in one session from June 9 through July 19.
The Old Davie School will present Acting Up, Broadway Bound and Company Group camps in two sessions from June 16 through July 11 and from July 14 through Aug. 8.
The Aventura Arts and Cultural Center will present Acting Up and Broadway Bound camps in two sessions from June 23 through July 18 and from July 21 through Aug. 15.
Cost: $880. Before-care will be available for $50 per session or $5 per day between 8 and 9 a.m. Aftercare will be available for $100 per session or $10 per day between 4 and 6 p.m.

Showtime Summer Performing Arts Camp
What: Organizers of the camp at Boca Raton’s Showtime Performing Arts Theatre promise one-on-one instruction culminating in performances (depending on which session you sign up for) in “Seussical,” “West Side Story,” “Pippin,” “Billy Elliot” and “The Addams Family.” They’ve also just added “The Little Mermaid Musical revue” for the summer lineup as an alternative for the youngest performer.
Times: Sessions begin June 9 and run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended hours will be available from 8 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. Session 1 is June 9 through July 3. Session 2 is July 7 through Aug. 1. Mini Camp Session 1 is Aug. 4-8. Mini Camp Session 2 is Aug. 11-15.

Sol Children Theatre Summer of Theatre Camp
What: The Sol Children Theatre ninth annual Summer of Theatre Camp will host two four-week sessions for ages 7 and older at Levis JCC Sandler Center in Boca Raton, ending with performances of “Disney’s Mulan Jr.” and “Hairspray.”
Times: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Session 1 is June 16 through July 11. Session 2 is July 14 through Aug. 8.
Cost: $1,250. Before-care is available from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. for $25 a week. Aftercare is available from 3:35 to 5:30 p.m. for $45 a week.

Plaza Theatre Summer Theatre Camp
What: Manalapan’s Plaza Theatre is staging two camps simultaneously: the Cartoon Cabaret Camp (for ages 5 to 7) and BroadwayKidz Camp (for ages 8 to 18). Cartoon Cabaret Camp will have students perform their favorite songs from animated moves such as “Frozen,” “Aladdin” and “The Lion King.” BroadwayKidz Camp will have instruction from working professionals as well as stagings of “Bye Bye Birdie” or “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” depending on the session.
Times: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Session 1 is June 9 through July 3. Session 2 is July 7 through Aug. 1.

Miami Theater Center Musical Theater Summer Camp
What: The Miami Shores-based troupe leads students in theater games, improvisation, acting, music, movement and dance for ages 6 to 12.
Times: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Session 1 is June 9 through 27. Session 2 is July 14 through Aug. 1.

Camp Broadway Miami
What: Teachers with Broadway credits give campers an idea of the real thing at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Kids ages 10 to 17 can attend this program, which is making its debut in South Florida after success in cities such as Manhattan, Las Vegas and Atlanta.
Times: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 16-20 (with a performance on June 21)

Arts Garage and BaCA
What: Both the Arts Garage in Delray Beach and Bailey Contemporary Arts Center (BaCA) in Pompano Beach are under the auspices of the Creative City Collaborative. They each have a summer camp with strong elements of theater, music and art. Arts Garage’s camp is for ages 6 to 12 (there is also a separate jazz music camp). The BaCA camp is for ages 6 to 18.
Times: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday for both camps. Arts Garage’s week-long sessions will begin June 23 and go through Aug. 15. BaCA’s week-long sessions will begin June 9 and run through Aug. 1.
Cost: $200 per week
ArtsCamp 2014 at Kravis Center
What: The summer camp at West Palm Beach’s Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is for ages 9 to 11 and culminates in a showcase on June 27. Enrollment is limited to 75 campers selected by interview.
Times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (aftercare is available). June 9 through 27
