  • March a feast of literary events

March a feast of literary events
The major event this month is the annual Literary Feast, sponsored by the Broward Public Library Foundation, scheduled for March 28 and 29. In its 27th year, the Literary Feast has grown into the premier book event of the year in Fort Lauderdale. The authors are guests for dinners in private homes, participate in a full day of LitLive panels open to the public and visit high schools. Last year, the event raised $176,000 for literacy programs. This year, the panels will be at a different venue — from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. March 29 at the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale, One E. Las Olas Blvd. Details are bplfoundation.org, or call 954-357-7382.
