Just six months after  opening and with slot revenues barely trickling in, Broward’s newest gambling option,  Dania Casino and Jai-Alai, will be shutting its doors -- with plans to reopen in a year.

Dania officials say they'll spend $50 million to make their venue competitive with four other surrounding casinos in south Broward County. Their current revenue is not only far behind the other four, but among the lowest in the nation.
