Since opening in 2010, the weekend-only Yellow Green Farmers Market in Hollywood has steadily gained popularity for its growing stable of diverse food offerings.
But success has led to crowds and parking problems. The market says it will charge $5 for parking starting Sept. 15.
Some longtime customers and vendors are angered by the move and they worry that the market, which has been adding stalls, is getting too big.
Soon Yogi Berra’s famous quote may apply: “Nobody goes there anymore — it’s too crowded.”
