For many South Florida music fans, Black Friday means vinyl, which often isn’t black anymore. And this year, the white whale for many a hunter of exclusive new vinyl on this quasi Record Store Day is indeed white, the color of a White Russian, to be precise.
When Mikey Ramirez opens the doors to Radio-Active Records (845 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale; 954-762-9488) at the crack of 8 a.m. Friday, and Ritchie Siegrist does the same 30 minutes later at the Record Rack (2205 E.
