About 800 colorful umbrellas have transformed downtown Coral Gables into a scene straight out of “Mary Poppins.”
The rainbow of parasols are part of a traveling art installation called the Umbrella Sky project. (Look through the photo gallery above.)
The project comes from Sexatafeira, a Portugal-based creative agency whose name means “Friday” in Portuguese. The company said its use of umbrellas was inspired by the Disney classic movie “Mary Poppins.”
