    Dining Out for Life: What started as a small fundraiser in Philadelphia in 1991 has grown to a nationwide, one-day blowout to raise much needed money for people with HIV and AIDS. In Broward County, 14 restaurants have signed on to participate with all proceeds going to Broward House, South Florida's oldest and largest HIV/AIDS community-service organization. J. Marks in Fort Lauderdale is donating 100 percent of the day's proceeds. Other restaurants, most in and around Wilton Manors, are giving away a smaller percentage.
