Disney has once again put out its best bargain for Florida residents looking to visit the parks in the first half of the year.
The three-day Discover Disney ticket is $129 for Florida residents with an option to add a fourth day for $20 more. The tickets are good for Jan. 4-April 11 and then again from April 20-June 6 with certain blackout dates for the Magic Kingdom.
Those dates are Feb. 15-16, April 20-25 and May 23-25. On those dates, though, you could still visit Walt Disney World's other three parks.
Proof of Florida residency is required and tickets are nontransferable. Tickets don't have to be used on consecutive days. You can spread out your visits, but all need to be used before June 6. You can see complete details at the Disney parks website by clicking on offers and then looking for the Florida resident offer link. You can also purchase tickets by calling 407-939-7682.
This is the fifth year in a row Disney has made the Florida-resident offer targeting the first half of the year, although prices have climbed since 2010, when four days were offered for only $99.
Last year's offer was three days for $119 and the fourth day was only $10 more, so prices have jumped for the four-day offer by $20.
Still, at $149, four days at Disney breaks down to $37.25, which is much less than the $95 single-day admission price to the Magic Kingdom or $92 admission to Epcot, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios.
