Enjoy the beauty of the historic Stranahan House through daily guided tours that are both interesting as well as educational. See how South Foridians lived at the turn of the century in Fort Lauderdale's oldest house. Built in 1901, the Stranahan House was a trading post for nearby Native Americans to trade with the settlers just coming to Florida. Since the house as served as a post office, a bank, and now it has been restored to it's original beauty and has been preserved as a historic museum.
