Two artists commissioned to make Delray Beach Open more colorful

The Delray Beach Open, which runs through Feb. 26, is more colorful this year. That's because two local artists were commissioned to paint a mural and create an installation at the Tennis Center.

Eduardo Mendieta, of West Palm Beach, painted a mural inspired by serve movements. Abstract blue body shapes representing different phases of tennis serving blend in forming a wave-like shape.

Agata Ren, of Boca Raton, uses a real tennis net in her installation at the center's entrance.
