Ticket alert: Graham Nash at Parker Playhouse

Ticket alert: Graham Nash coming to Parker Playhouse.

Singer, songwriter and captivating storyteller Graham Nash will return to South Florida for a Jan. 28 performance at Fort Lauderdale's Parker Playhouse.

Tickets for the show cost $47.50-$97.50 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Parker Playhouse box office (707 NE Eighth St.), the Broward Center box office (201 SW Fifth Ave.) and all Ticketmaster outlets.

While this performance falls about a year since his previous visit to South Florida (Jan. 16 at Parker Playhouse), this time out Nash will have with him a new batch of songs from the album "This Path Tonight," set for release April 15. The collection of 10 original songs is Nash's first solo record of new music in 14 years.

Nash will be accompanied on tour by Shane Fontayne, who produced "This Path Tonight."

You also can expect the Grammy winner and two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee (with the Hollies and Crosby, Still & Nash) to reach into his bag of timeless classics, including "Our House," "Teach Your Children" and "Just a Song Before I Go."
