Pop heartthrobs Hanson will further distance themselves from their Tiger Beat “MMMBop” days on an imminent album, “String Theory,” and a symphonic tour that will bring them to the Fillmore Miami Beach.
Tickets for the Oct. 25 performance go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, July 27, at the Fillmore box office, at LiveNation.com and by calling 800-745-3000. Reserved-seat tickets will cost $89.50, 69.50, $59.50 and $44.50. Visit FillmoreMB.com.
Running through next spring, the tour will feature Zac, Isaac and Taylor Hanson performing with symphony orchestras.
The tour begins Aug. 2 with the Pittsburgh Symphony at Heinz Hall, followed by an Aug. 4 performance with the National Symphony Orchestra at Wolftrap in Vienna, Va. No word yet on which orchestra will perform with the brothers in South Florida.
The “String Theory” album, a collaboration with Academy Award-winning arranger David Campbell set for a fall release, will include new and previously released songs arranged for orchestra. Tracks on the album will include some of their most popular songs (“MMMBop,” “Where’s the Love,” “This Time Around”) and new or unreleased songs (“Reaching for the Sky,” “Battle Cry,” “Breaktown” and “No Rest for the Weary”).
