Some people fill up on turkey and head to the mall. Others head to the casino. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, 866-502-7529, caters to the latter, giving away $5,000 in free play every hour from 7 p.m. to midnight. One player will be randomly selected every hour, and must be playing slots with a Player’s Club card inserted to be eligible. The free play will be auto-loaded to the winning Player’s Club account, to avoid the temptation of taking the loot and spending it on electronics, trendy clothes or knickknacks.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek (5550 NW 40th St., 954-977-6700, will get ahead on the Thanksgiving promotions with Angry Turkeys Take Las Vegas from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Eight randomly selected winners will each select a turkey egg. Four eggs will contain an instant free-play prize. The remaining four will win up to $2,000. They can then leave the game or go for more prizes, but if they uncover the “farmer with the ax,” they will lose their accumulated prizes and leave with $250 in free play.
