Directions: How to get to Okeechobee Fest

Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival runs from Thursday, March 2 through Sunday, March 5. Those who purchased the special four-day "Portal" pass will be allowed into the festival grounds starting at noon Thursday, March 2. For everyone else, gates will open at 10 a.m. March 3. By car

The official address to Okeechobee's grounds is 12517 NE 91ST Ave., Okeechobee. If you put that in your maps, you'll find alternate ways to get there via FL-91 N or I-75 N.

This is the route Okeechobee's website suggests: Take I-95 toward West Palm Beach, Exit 76 for FL-708 / Blue Heron Blvd. Make a left onto FL-708 / Blue Heron Blvd. Merge right onto FL-710 before turning right onto SE 128th Ave. Take a slight left onto NE 120th St. Look for signs for Sunshine Grove.

By train

Amtrak will take you to the Okeechobee station at 801 N. Parrot Ave., Okeechobee. There will be shuttles from the station to the festival. Value tickets start at around $20, depending where you're leaving from, and go up to over $100 for premium.

By Tri-Rail

Tri-Rail runs from Miami to West Palm Beach. From there, Okeechobee will provide shuttles running at least every 60 minutes from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tickets cost $52.22 with fees. The last return shuttle leaves at 3 a.m. / @MedinasMedia
