Kids get in free at Palm Beach Zoo through Labor Day

Kids get in free to the Palm Beach Zoo throughout the Labor Day weekend this year, thanks to the fifth annual Kids Free Labor Day promotion.

The free admission is offered Aug. 31 through Sept. 3, and up to six children ages 12 and under will be admitted with a paid, regular-price, adult admission.

DJs will play music in Fountain Plaza from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday through Monday, and the FPL Cooling Station will offer free, cool fun in the plaza on Monday, Sept. 3.

The FPL cooling cube blasts visitors with music and nitrogen-chilled air, dropping the temperature by 15 to 20 degrees, and generating a fun video of the experience.

The Palm Beach Zoo is at 1301 Summit Blvd. in West Palm. Regular admission prices are $22.95 for adults and $13.95 for ages 3-12. Call 561-547-9453 or visit palmbeachzoo.org.
