The Capital Grille does wine.....generously

Staff writer

I call it one of the best summer wine deals in town.

The Capital Grille has brought back its Generous Pour wine event. Guests who purchase dinner can enjoy seven generous pours of world-class wine varietals for $25. You can pick and choose the order in which you drink the wine.

It’s a great way to explore new wines, especially since most Capital Grille servers are well versed in wine and food pairings.

Atalon, Sauvignon Blanc, 2012 (Napa); Byron, Chardonnay, 2012 (Santa Barbara, Calif.); Carmel Road, “Liberated,” Riesling, 2012 (Monterey, Calif.); Freemark Abbey, Merlot, 2011 (Napa); Arrowood, “Catchwire” Bordeaux Blend, 2011 (Sonoma); Kendall-Jackson, “Winemaker Selection,” Cabernet, 2012 (Sonoma); and La Crema, Pinot Noir, 2012 (Willamette, Ore.)

The La Crema is the winery’s first Pinot and its first wine produced outside of California.

The Capital Grille has locations in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens and Miami. The Generous Pour ends August 31.
