This Toronto-based chain has unveiled its third South Florida outpost in the short-lived Bar Italia after Cibo's success in Miami Beach and Coral Gables.
"Many guests at our Coral Gables and South Beach locations travel from Fort Lauderdale to enjoy our authentic Italian cuisine, and they expressed their desire to have Cibo closer to home," owner Nick Di Donato says.
This will be the first location to cure meats in-house for selections such as the Prosciutto + Formaggio ($17), starting at the New Year. Other highlights on the infinite menu include house-cured salmon crudo ($16); 16 stone-hearth pizzas ($11-$16), such as Gorgonzola with pears and walnuts; nine house-made pastas ($16-$19) such as sausage orecchiette; porcini-crusted, chianti-braised short ribs ($29) and for dessert, Nutella pizza ($12).
Leading cocktails ($12) include Barrel Aged Negroni and Cibo Sangria.
Lunch and dinner are served daily, plus Sunday brunch, amid a warm, trendy ambiance featuring a marble-fronted open kitchen with marquee lights, plush booths against a white-washed brick wall and a lit bar top with an Enomatic wine system.
