Hate cooking? Try these Palm Beach County restaurants for Thanksgiving

A proper Thanksgiving feast is a big production, one that requires shopping, cooking and cleaning. For those who want to avoid the hassle on Nov. 22, many restaurants in Palm Beach County are ready to serve. A selection of dining options for the holiday (check here for Broward County suggestions):

Cafe Boulud at the Brazilian Court Hotel, 301 Australian Ave., Palm Beach, 561-655-6060 — Chef Daniel Boulud’s elegant dining enclave with a courtyard in the understated Brazilian Court Hotel exudes classic Palm Beach charm, and will offer a three-course Thanksgiving meal from noon until 9 p.m. The cost is $105 for adults, $45 for children 10 and under, excluding tax, tip and drinks. Menu options include sweet potato soup, Meyer lemon crab cake or pickled cherry pork terrine to start; turkey with brioche stuffing, sweet corn and chanterelle mushroom risotto with snap peas, barramundi with pumpkin couscous or Heritage ham with macaroni and cheese for an entree; and apple tatin, spiced panna cotta or upside down chocolate souffle with pistachio ice cream for dessert.

Deck 84, 840 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, 561-665-8484 — This stylish American eatery on the Intracoastal will be open from noon until 7 p.m. on Thanskgiving. In addition to its full regular menu, the restaurant will offer special holiday items including a harvest salad with fresh greens, pears, dried cranberries, blue cheese and candied walnuts ($10), turkey dinner with trimmings ($28) and roasted snapper ($32) with mussels, shrimp, saffron broth, rice and corn-and-black-bean salsa. The bar will offer a special holiday cocktail, a caramel apple mule ($12) with vodka, ginger beer, apple juice and butterscotch liqueur.

Eau Palm Beach Resort, 100 S. Ocean Blvd., Manalapan, 561-540-4835 — The holiday will be celebrated with a deluxe brunch buffet from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Ocean Ballroom at this beachfront resort. The cost is $125 for adults, $35 for children 12 and under (plus tax and tip) and offerings include carving stations with turkey and beef, a raw bar and sushi station, desserts and unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys.

Max’s Grille, 404 Plaza Real (Mizner Park), Boca Raton, 561-386-0080 — This venerable and comfortable modern-American restaurant at Mizner Park will be open 3-8:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving and will offer its regular menu in addition to special holiday items. Among them: butternut squash and apple soup, pumpkin conch fritters, traditional turkey dinner ($29), Floribbean holiday snapper ($32), grilled churasco steak with sticky rice ($36) and pumpkin pie.

3800 Ocean at Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Resort, 3800 N. Ocean Drive, Riviera Beach, 561-340-1795 — This oceanfront hotel on sedate Singer Island was recently named one of the top resorts in Florida by Conde Nast traveler and its fine-dining restaurant will offer a Thanksgiving buffet from noon until 8 p.m. Chef James King will prepare traditional favorites and other dishes including lobster truffle macaroni and cheese, maple-brined pork belly with roasted poblano, and salted cod and crab cakes. The buffet also features carving stations, raw bar and desserts. The cost is $85 for adults, $29 for children under 12, plus tax and tip.

Three Forks Prime Steakhouse, 4645 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, 561-630-3660 — Diners will find turkey and more at this upscale steakhouse, with four-course holiday meals including a dessert smorgasbord from Chef Tommy Nevill. The cost is $48 for adults, $18 for kids under 12 (tax and tip additional). The menu includes tenderloin tomato soup, a signature salad with Granny Smith apples and blue cheese, and main course options of turkey, tenderloin or maple-glazed salmon. The restaurant will also offer regular menu items a la carte.
