It's bar night!

It’s that time again. Elated hordes of 20-somethings are returning to their South Floridian homes from college, and they’ll flock to local bars for pseudo-high-school reunions and adult beverages before Thanksgiving.

You’ll run into them if you brave the streets Wednesday night, but don’t let that turn you off. This year, even the swanky clubs are celebrating T-Day Eve.

For the first time, the Living Room at the W Fort Lauderdale will help you be thankful for those pesky people with whom you eat turkey and watch football — by inviting you to party till 2 a.m. The Eve Before the ThanksÖ party will feature live music from 7 to 10 p.m. and DJ Danny Stern the rest of the night. Admission is cover, though valet parking costs $5 with validation. Go to

Even if fashion’s not your thing, the Models and Bottles fashion show at the Copacabana Supper Club is a tempting offer, with lingerie-clad ladies strutting to the beat of a Latin percussion show. It starts at 9 p.m., and because women are still hot commodities in any glam setting, they’ll only have to pay $10 to attend, while men’s tickets cost $20. Go to

Electro-turkey is what you’ll get at the Green Room’s Indie Pre-Thanksgiving Party tonight at 10. The underground hip-hop Brown Bag Wednesdays party is now defunct, so electro-goth DJs will play you into gratefulness as you dance and sample turkey at the club. Admission is $5. Go to

The Young Professionals’ Cranberry Jam event is on its 19th year at Bimini Boatyard, where, for $30, guests get two drinks and an appetizer to gobble down while watching a live band. All proceeds benefit the Covenant House for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth. Party starts at 7 p.m., and $25 advance tickets are available through

The bros at American Social dub their Thanksgiving Eve party Black Wednesday. Club regular DJ Skitty will set the mood for this day-long party, starting today at 4 and expected to go on till 3 a.m. Thursday. Go to

But forget all this turkey-thankful madness. It’s Roccos’ Tacos of Boca Raton’s third anniversary tonight. To celebrate, that old rascal Rocco Mangel will pour free Patron for guests who come while he’s at the bar, and drink specials go on all night. Block party starts at 5 p.m. with plenty of live music.

Meanwhile, the Backyard in Boynton Beach will start celebrating at 3 p.m. with the Chase and Tyler Duo onstage, and country-blues Samantha Russell Band at 8 p.m. Go to

For something heavier, get to the Funky Biscuit and have your face stolen by Jerry Garcia tribute band Reflections at the Pre-Thanksgiving Musical Feast tonight at 9:30. Admission is $8. Go to

Blue Martini locations in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton will hold their regular ladies night specials: the girls get in free and drink half-priced cocktails.
