South Florida stages are extra bright this time of year with illumination from Christmas lights.

“It’s A Fabulous Life”

“The Nutcracker, A Magical New Play”

“Madeline’s Christmas"

Dec. 7-9

A Christmas musical adaptation of the Ludwig Bemelman story of the Parisienne schoolgirls and their plucky leader comes to the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Perfroming Arts in Fort Lauderdale.

“The Nutcracker” by What If Works, Inc.

The theatrical troupe What If Works stages a new take on the E.T.A. Hoffman story with a string quartet, three actors, four dancers and a chorus of middle schoolers from Dade County with each performance benefiting different charities.
