The 5-year-old Glenview boy who wrote letters to all 30 Major League Baseball teams asking for pocket schedules heard back from the final two teams: the New York Yankees and the San Diego Padres.
On July 16, I wrote a column about Colin’s pocket schedule collection. His aunt Kathleen, a Cleveland Indians fan, sent him a pocket schedule for her beloved team in the spring. Colin loved it and studied it before bed each night.
